Ghanaian third tier side Cheetah FC have announce the signing of Niger U-17 defender Djibrilla Ibrahim Mossi.
The centre-back, 16, has been on the radar of the Kasoa-based Division Two outfit since the 2017 Nations Cup in Gabon and the World Cup in India later that year.
He was further scouted at the recently held Wafu Zone B Under-17 Afcon qualifying tournament by Cheetah FC’s president Hay Yartey who decided to pursue the capture of the mena Cadets captain after impressive outings.
Djibrilla has been handed a three-year contract and is highly tipped to be shipped out to Europe by the next transfer window.
Arriving from AS Douanes, Djibrilla becomes the third Nigerien international after Victorien Adebayor and Hainikoye Soumana to join Ghanaian clubs over the past year.
