Ghana’s Frank Acheampong delivered a remarkable solo goal as Tianjin Teda snatched full points with a 3-2 win at Henan Jianye in the Chinese Super League Saturday.
Tianjin Teda had taken a two-goal lead courtesy a first-half brace from Zheng Kaimu but allowed their hosts to peg back within 13 minutes after recess.
Then came the stunning run and finish of 10 seconds from Acheampong.
The 25-year-old snatched possession in his own half, turned and bursting forward, successfully glided past four markers who attempted to stop him before slotting past goalkeeper Wu Yan in the 75th minute.
The goal – Acheampong’s second of the season – proved the match winner for the visitors who temporarily climb to 4th position with 10 points from six games in the 2019 Chinese Super League.
