Bukasa’s dismissal came after a 1-0 defeat to rivals Armée Patriotique Rwandaise Football Club (APR), ending Rayon Sports’ hopes of a league title.
The club’s technical director Baptiste Kayiranga managed the club until the end of the season.
Since departing Rayon Sports, Djuma has coached Simba SC, AS Kigali, Bugesera, and Bukavu Dawa.
The former APR, Rayon Sports and Kiyovu striker has been tasked with building a team that can challenge for the title next season after finishing 7th in the league standings.
